it's been a while...

since I blogged last. I have no idea how long, but a long time. There hasn't been anything especially interesting going on here...just the usual. Thanksgiving was pretty uneventful. We did have a party crasher, but luckily we were able to get rid of him before he caused too much trouble. The whole family was able to be there which was nice. We hardly ever get to spend time all together. The week after Thanksgiving my mom and Jessica talked me into going to Disneyland with them. We left on the 1st and came back on the 4th. I had to drive the entire time because we all had to squish into the truck (3 adults and 2 children in car seats!). I was a little nervous, but we all made it back in one piece (Jess didn't even have any freak outs about my driving). We had a great time at Disneyland. It was all decked out for x-mas and we got the kids cute little Santa hats to wear (Jaidyn's was a pink princess one and Colin's was red with mickey ears). We also went to California Adventure which was fun. I've never been before. Last weekend I had my company holiday party. It was really fun and nice. I think everyone had a good time. I partied a little too hard and was very sad on Sunday, but it was my once a year splurge and it was fun. Our party was at the M Resort and a bunch of us got rooms. After our party a group of us went down to one of the bars and stayed out until 2:00am. I am so not use to that kind of thing lol. Sunday I had to write a paper in my hung-over state which wasn't so awesome, but I managed to get it done. I've been stressed all week about my finals. I was mostly just worried about my math class because I'm so not good at math, but I took my final last night and I got an 83 so that's good. I ended up getting a B in the class. I am getting really excited for Christmas. I love going to Alamo and watching all of the kids open their presents. They are so sweet and it's so much fun for them. The only sucky thing is that my dad won't be there this year. He has to work Christmas day so he's not coming up. I can't wait to spend a few days at my mom's house being lazy and eating good food. I also can't wait to be off of school for a couple of weeks. I am so tired I can barely keep my eyes open these days. I haven't been the gym in weeks because I've been so tired. Hopefully I can get over that this weekend and get back to the gym on Monday (I need to go all week to try to combat holiday weight gain lol). I'm also going to try to keep blogging on a semi-regular basis :)

Yawn...

I'm tired. I slept in until 8:30 this morning which is later than I have slept in a long time. Ok, so last Thursday (the 2nd of April) I decided that I was going to take Friday off and leave early for Alamo since Jess and the kids were already there. Thursday night I came home and packed my bag but I didn't want to leave yet because Jordan's girlfriend was flying in that night and I wanted to meet here. When she got here I only got to say a quick hello before they had to leave again so I didn't get to talk to her like I had wanted to. After they left I got in the car and headed for Alamo. It was really windy the whole way there, but it wasn't too bad of a drive. I got there a little after 10 so everyone was asleep except for my mom. I just went right to bed because I was tired (well I tried to go to bed but I wasn't successful until several hours later...story of my life). On Friday I woke up (really early thanks so much brother!) and the boys came up and we had chocolate chip pancakes...they were so good. We didn't do much the rest of the day Friday just hung out and chatted. On Saturday we had to get up really early so that we could be to the fire station by 6:45 to get everything set up for the 5k. Holy mother was it cold! I believe it was 34 degrees when we got out of the truck. The 5k went well and we headed home a little after 9 to rest a little before Ryan's baptism. The baptism was short and sweet. It was mostly just family and Ryan did really well. Tyson gave a little talk on baptism and it was cute. After that we all went home to change so we could go to the park for a BBQ. The food was so good and I think we all had a good time. Jess, my mom, and the kids had to leave early because the kids were tired and Jess ended up just heading back to Vegas. After the BBQ we just went back to my mom's house and hung out. On Sunday I got up and Tyson and Andrea came up to have some breakfast burritos. Tyson just stayed there so we could leave for Vegas. We left around 10 or so. We got some lunch on the way into town and took it to Jessica's house. After lunch I had to have Jess follow me to the Palms so I could drop off my car because Samantha had arranged for a limo to pick us up and take us to the concert but we would still need a way home. After we did that Jess and I took Tyson to Wal Mart so that he could buy a new air soft gun because the one he had gotten for his birthday had broken. A little while after we got home it was time to leave for the concert. Sam came over to ride with us in the limo. We had the driver take us to In-N-Out Burger because that's what Tyson had wanted. It was kind of embarrassing pulling up there in a limo (right in front of the doors), but it was fun to ride around town eating our burgers. After that he dropped us off at the Palms. There were 4 other bands playing besides Fall Out Boy and we didn't know 2 of them so we didn't get to the concert right when it started. We arrived a little after 7 and we were just in time for Cobra Starship. I only knew one of their songs, but I might have fallen in love with the lead singer. I couldn't actually see what he looked like, but he seemed hot. lol After Cobra Starship there was an intermission so they could set up for Metro Station so Tyson and I headed out to the bathrooms. When we were done I asked Tyson if he wanted to go look at the T-shirts they had for sale and he told me he didn't have any money and I told him it was ok because I did. I wasn't going to get him a shirt because I had already ordered him one from the fan club, but I couldn't help myself. We got in line and got him a t-shirt and made it back to our seats just in time for Metro Station. They were really horrible. They don't sound good live at all. After Metro Station there was like a 45 minute intermission while they set up for FOB and poor Tyson was so tired. When FOB finally did make it on stage everyone stood up so we had to stand up too otherwise we wouldn't be able to see. Tyson was so tired he couldn't even stand up very long to see them so after 6 or 7 songs I asked him if he was ready to leave and he said yes. Poor little guy is used to being in bed really early and it was already 10. We stopped for a beverage and then we were on our way back to Jessica's house. We slept on the couch and we woke up really early (since that's how they do there). I talked Jess and the kids into coming with us to the Black Bear Diner for breakfast and it was so good. After breakfast Tyson and I headed back to Alamo. We got there around 11 or so. I was so tired I ended up falling asleep on the couch (despite Ryan singing "are you smarter than a 5th grader" at the top of his little lungs). lol I was so tired I really didn't want to leave so I didn't end up heading back to Vegas until a little after 3. When I got home I chatted with Jordan and his girlfriend (Natasha) for a few minutes and then I took a shower and went to the movies. This week at work was pretty uneventful. On Thursday night I decided I wanted to get either my lip or my eyebrow pierced so last night I went down to Diversity and got my lip pierced. My mom is really unhappy with me, but you only live once right? It's not hurting anyone and when I don't want it anymore I can take it out and no one will ever even know I had it. I am excited about it. So excited in fact I might go back today for a different piercing. I wanted an industrial piercing, but I had been told that it can't be done because of the shape of my ear, but the guy who did my lip said he can do it so I might go back and get it today. We'll see.

let's see...

I haven't been doing much lately. I totally did go to Wal Mart and buy Twilight on dvd at midnight...there was a super long line. The next day I went to Planet Hollywood and purchased a new Betsey Johnson bag...I love it. It is the perfect white bag for summer. The next day I went to breakfast with my dad, Sam, my cousin bobby, and his friend lance. We ate at the Black Bear Diner which might be my favorite place for breakfast. It is so good...I highly recommend going there sometime. Last week was the same as usual. Boring! The days went by so slow. I went to dinner with Kami on Tuesday at Casa Don Juan's...so delish! We had a good time talking and walking around the ghetto looking in store windows and going down a scary crack alley! The rest of the week I don't recall doing anything special. I come home and watch tv until it's time for bed, or Jordan and I talk until it's time for bed. I'd say at least twice a week we have 3-4 hour long conversations. They are very entertaining. haha Saturday I went to Jessica's house to babysit Colin while they took Jaidyn to get her pictures taken. He slept most of the time I was there and when I went to get him out of his crib when he woke up he was none too happy to see me. lol He kept staring at me like "what the heck are you doing here?". I did end up making him laugh with my old school dance moves...he thinks it's really funny when I do the running man, the cabbage patch, and the sprinkler. lol He danced too and then I taught him how to blow kisses. Jess had been working on getting him to do it and he would put his hand up to his mouth, but he wouldn't do the rest of it. Well I got him to do it all including making the kissing sound. haha Sunday I did a whole lot of nothing. I sat around all day and I only left the house to make a beer/cigarette run for Jordan and to go to Target where I was almost blown away by the worst wind. Today I had an appointment at the eye doctor and he told me that I have excellent vision. He said I probably won't need glasses until I'm 40 lol. I am excited about that. I thought for sure I would need glasses. I am near sighted in my right eye, but not enough to make me need glasses. Just one more thing to spend money on and end up losing/breaking. Next on my to do list is to go to the dentist. I really don't want to do that because I don't think my teeth are all that great. I don't even want to know how many cavities I have. I also don't want to hear something like "you need to have your wisdom teeth out". I know I'm a wuss, but I was nervous for the eye doctor for crying out loud! Jordan's girlfriend will be here on Thursday night. She is staying the weekend, but Thursday night is the only chance I'll have to meet her because I will be gone all weekend. I am headed to Alamo for the Eric M. Lee Memorial 5k and Ryan's baptism. Those events are happening on Saturday, but I will be leaving for Alamo on Friday night so I don't have to wake up super early and drive up there. I am staying in Alamo until Sunday and then I'm bringing Tyson back with me so that we can go to the Fall Out Boy concert on Sunday night. I think we are going to stay at Jessica's house that night because I think Tyson would be more comfortable there since he's stayed there before. Plus they aren't all that far from the Palms. Monday I'll take Tyson back to Alamo and then I'll come back. I am so excited for the concert I hope we have a good time. Tyson is stoked because Metro Station is one of the opening bands and he likes them. Well I guess I'm going to go eat some pizza before Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill come on.

Home sweet home

I am happy to be home from Cali. I had a really good time, but I am so tired it's nice to be home. So just moments after I posted my last post Jordan came home with a case of beer and a case of Mike's Hard Lemonade so that we could celebrate St. Patrick's Day with green beer (in my case green Mike's). Well we decided to play beer pong and it seems that I'm not very good because I lost 3 games in a row and drank way too much. I didn't even go to bed until after 11 and I had to be ready to leave my house by 7 for Disneyland. Well I went to bed and woke up at 4 with the worst headache of my life and I was very sick to my stomach. I spent the next little while in the bathroom thinking I was going to be sick. Finally I decided to go lay down for a little while, but I had to get up a short time later because I thought I was going to be sick again. I spent the next hour or so on the bathroom floor wishing I could throw up. I finally knew I had to get in the shower because it was already after 6 and I hadn't even packed my stuff yet. When I finally got up from the floor in front of the toilet I started brushing my hair and had to lean over the sink because I finally was going to throw up...or so I thought. I ended up just heaving and that was even worse because at least throwing up makes you feel better, but heaving just makes you sad. Finally I was able to control it enough to get in the shower and after that I was ok. I ate some crackers and sipped some water and all was well. I was super tired though. We got to Cali at about noon or so and we checked into the hotel and then we went to get some lunch. After lunch Jess and Eric took their kids to the beach and Andrea and I took Tyson and Ryan to Target and then back to the hotel. We just ordered pizza for dinner that night. Thursday we woke up early and got to Disneyland about a half hour before they opened. Jess and Eric took Jaidyn and Colin to ride the smaller kids rides and Andrea and I took Tyson and Ryan to ride some other rides. We got about 3 rides done and then it was time for lunch and Ryan decided he wanted to go back to the hotel so after lunch Andrea and Ryan left and Tyson and I stayed with Jess, Eric, and the kids. We rode a few more rides and then Tyson was ready to leave so he and I went back to the hotel. Jess, Eric, and the kids ended coming back not long after that. We were all tired and it was pretty hot. That night we went to The Outback for dinner and it was really good and then we walked over to Target to pick up a few things. We woke up this morning and just came straight home. We stopped in Baker for some lunch but that was it. Andrea dropped me off around noon and then she and the boys headed out for Alamo. Since then I've just taken a shower and sat around. Jordan and I were chatting for a while, but his friend is here now and I left them alone so they could chat. I am seriously contemplating driving to the Wal Mart right down the street from my house at midnight so I can get a copy of Twilight. I know...it's sad, but I really liked it. I am so tired right now, but I don't feel like I can go to sleep right now. I should have gone to the gym today when I was sitting around doing nothing, but I was feeling a little lazy. I am so happy that today is only Friday. It makes me glad to know that I still have my whole weekend to do whatever I want (namely nothing). I can't believe it's already almost the end of march...time is flying by way too fast. Well I guess I don't really have anything else to say...

I'm a slacker...

I know this, but I kind of forgot about blogging for a while. So not much has been going on since I blogged last. Things are good at the house...we are all settled in and doing well. Since I last blogged I have not done much. I had the whole fiasco with my mom's eye surgery, but she is recovering and should be able to see again soon. I went to Utah with Sam a couple of weeks ago and it was ok. We left Friday night to head to St. George to see my grandma and to look at modular homes for Sam and Kody's property in Alamo. Early Saturday morning I woke up so sick to my stomach like I was going to puke and I stayed that way for several days. There has been some kind of awful sickness going around work that makes you tired and nauseous and gives you the worst headache (which I've had for over a week straight). Anyways that Saturday we went to visit my grandma and then we ended up at the gun store (not my idea) and we spent a considerable amount of time there (boring!) buying a new gun for Sam and Kody. Then we drove all over St. George looking for some modular home place that when we finally found it was not what we were looking for at all. We drove home that day and got home around 4:30 or so. I was so happy to be home. Sam's driving makes me car sick and I was sick to my stomach anyways so it was not the best thing ever. I am getting ready to leave for Disneyland tomorrow with Andrea, Tyson, Ryan, Jessica, Eric, Jaidyn, and Colin. It should be a really good time. I am so happy to have 3 days off of work. I need it really bad...I almost had a melt down at work today. Other than that I've just been shopping, being lazy, and reading. Oh, I did start going to the gym again though...I really like it. I haven't gotten up to going as much as I want to, but I figure it's a good start. The thing that sucks is that this gym by my house is so busy all the time that it's hard to find a good time to go. I like to work out in the women's gym (at least for now) and when it's so busy you can't find an empty machine to save your life. Once I get back to where I'm not dying on the machines by the end of my hour I will start working out in the main gym, but for now I don't think I want that many people seeing me like that lol. I am so tired I feel like I could fall asleep right now, but I have laundry to do and I have to pack when that's all done so I think falling asleep now is a bad idea. I can't even really do any of it in the morning because I have to be ready to leave by 7 so that doesn't leave me time to mess around in the morning. 7 is what time I have to be ready to leave for work so at least it's not earlier than I'm used to, but it is sad to think that I won't be sleeping in on the 1st day of my vacation (or any of the days for that matter :). I am lucky though because Andrea and the kids have to get up way earlier so they can drive from Alamo and be here by 7...that sucks. Well I guess that's about all I have to say...

I'm finally moved into my new place. We got to move in over the weekend. I am so happy to finally be settled. We just got the furniture done yesterday and if feels like a real house now lol. Ok, so I know it's not new, but I am obsessed with the song Piece of Me by Britney Spears right now. I heard it the other day and now I can't get it out of my head. So...back on track. On Saturday Sam and I got up early and came over to the house to get some of my stuff moved into my room and after that we went to Jessica's house so we could babysit the kids for her and Eric. They went to lunch and mattress shopping so Sam and I hung out with the kids and had a blast. We danced around the whole time (to the "so what song" over and over). I was really sore the next day because of it lol. The kids were really good for us. Sam had to leave early, but I was able the handle the kids on my own. lol After Jess and Eric got home I went back to Sam's to pack up the rest of my stuff. After that I went to my dad's house to set up a computer for him. I gave him my desktop computer since I don't have anywhere to put it here and I mostly use my laptop anyways. Well once I got it set up I couldn't remember my password to log on lol. I spent so much time trying to remember it and then I called Sam if she knew how to bypass it so I could change the password. She couldn't help me so I called Jordan to see if he could help and he couldn't so he called his friend who does computers, but he didn't answer lol. It was a huge mess. We still haven't figured out the password, but I did get instructions on how I might be able to get around it. I just have to give them to Sam so she can go over there and do it because my dad is not so computer savvy. lol On Sunday Sam and Kody brought my dresser over for me and I packed my car full of stuff and came over. Jordan and Kody brought my couches inside for me too (yay for guys). The rest of Sunday Jordan and I just got our stuff unpacked (well I didn't do so much unpacking, but he did lol:). I need to go through all of my clothes and separate the winter and summer clothes because I don't have room for all of them in my closet and dresser. I have a lot of clothes and I got rid of so much before I moved in! I figure I'll get to some of it this weekend. We might be having a BBQ, but I'm not sure. None of my friends will be there so it's sure to be a little weird, but it should be ok. Oh, I'm going to Disneyland with Andrea, her kids, Jessica, her kids, and my mom in March. It should be a really good time. I am excited because I have never been to Disneyland with my mom. I have never been with my nephew Ryan either. Hopefully we will get to go on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride this time...it's my favorite. I hope the weather is nice. Well I guess that's all that's going on.

I guess...

it's been a while since I posted. I'm kind of a loser that way. Um...let's see. Since I posted last here is a breakdown of what has been going on. I was sick for quite some time, but I'm better now. Last week was about the same as any other week. Jordan thought we were going to be able to move into the house, but we didn't get to. I went over there last Thursday to get my sheets and check the progress on the house. It looks really good. When we were there almost everything was done there were just a bunch of little things that needed to be done still. We were going to move in anyways, but Jordan's mom called Friday afternoon and said we need to wait a little while longer. Hopefully this weekend, but Jordan's not making any promises since he's had to take it back 2 weeks in a row! lol On Saturday Jess and I decided to get out of the house for a while so we went to lunch at the Olive Garden and then we went to the Red Rock to gamble and watch a movie. I ended up winning $40 gambling so I called it a day. We saw He's Just Not That Into You...it was pretty good. It was a little long, but entertaining. By the time the movie was over it was 4 so when we got back to Jessica's house I only stayed a few minutes and then I headed home. I did absolutely nothing on Sunday...I sat around and watched tv all day. This week has been the same as usual...nothing exciting. Last night I went to Target to get stuff for the bathroom in the new house. I had to get everything (shower curtain, towels, trash can, etc.) and I ended up spending way more money than I wanted to. Oh, I forgot the part about how last Thursday I got a call from my credit union telling me that my debit card had been compromised and they had to shut it off and I won't get a new one for 7-10 days! I am stuck here with no money until my new card gets here and once the card gets here I still have to wait for the pin...it seriously sucks. So anyways when I was at Target I was just going to write a check since I don't have a debit card to use and the kid who was ringing me up (I swear he was 12!) accidentally put in the wrong number off of my driver's license (I'm not sure how) and so I couldn't use the check and he wanted me to write a new one. I just used my credit card instead (even though I'm trying really hard not to use it). I got some really cute stuff for the bathroom. The colors in there are like tan and stuff so I got chocolate brown towels and a really cute dark red shower curtain (Sam gave it to me) and then I got a dark bronze trash can and stuff to match the fixtures in the bathroom. I'm excited...I think it will be cute. My bedroom is a light gray color which couldn't be more perfect since I so happen to have a gray and pink comforter. Sam is giving me a dresser which is nice since I was going to have to buy one and it seems it will fit perfectly in my room. Sam's b-day is on Monday and I ordered cupcakes from The Cupcakery for her. I am so excited. I ordered some red velvet ones because they are her favorite and then I got some chocolate peanut butter ones because they sounded really good. I got enough for everyone in the office so we are going to have a little celebration. I am babysitting for Jessica and Eric for a little while on Saturday so they can go to lunch for Valentine's Day. I hope brother isn't mean to me! lol Well I guess I'd better go...

Friday

Yeah...I know. So I came home from work today because I wasn't feeling well and now I feel worse. I woke up with a sore throat and a stuffy nose and now I just feel so tired. Sam sent me home because she said I had a fever. I spent the entire day watching Entourage so that was cool. So Jordan told me that we would probably be able to move in this weekend, but he just called me and said it will be next weekend for sure. He said I can move my stuff into my room this weekend, but that we can't move any furniture into the living room or anything until next week because the tile has to be cleaned. The entire house has tile floors except for the bed rooms which have wood floors. I am going to have to invest in some slippers because my feet are going to get cold! The nice part is that there is no carpet at all so I never have to worry about it getting stained or anything. I am going to babysit Jaidyn tomorrow while Jess and Eric take Colin to get pics since he's 1 now. I plan on taking her a happy meal and chilling...she likes me. Brother doesn't like me so much so it's good that I don't have to watch him...he seriously hates me I think. lol Nothing really interesting has happened this week. I have just been working and hanging out like usual. Sam and I have been staying late at work so we have been getting home at like 7 which doesn't leave a lot of time to be bored so that's nice. I am really excited because I got Tyson's b-day gift...and it's quite possible that I'm more excited than he is lol. Yesterday I got an email from Ticketmaster saying that Fall Out Boy is coming to Vegas and that tickets are going on sale on Saturday. They were on presale for the fan club members and people who have a specific type of credit card. I decided that I wanted to take Tyson to see them because they are his favorite band and I really like them too so I thought it would be something fun we could do together. I of course text Andrea right away to see if she would let him go and she said yes. I didn't want to wait until Saturday to try to get tickets because I was afraid they would sell out before I got any so when I saw a thing that let you buy tickets early if you paid an extra $35 to join the fan club I decided I had to do it. I figured it would be ok because when you join the fan club they give you a t-shirt and a sticker and a few other random things that I can give to Tyson. Of course as soon as I got the tickets I had to call and tell Tyson...I couldn't wait until his birthday to tell him because I was seriously bouncing off the walls I was so excited. Andrea said he is really excited so I'm really glad. I wish we didn't have to wait until April, but I think we can survive. It ended up working out really well too because the concert is on Sunday April 5th and so I thought Tyson would have to miss school on Monday so I could bring him back, but that happens to be the first weekend of spring break and the weekend of the 5K so I will already be going to Alamo so I can bring him back with me and he doesn't have to miss any school. lol I figure it must be fate! haha Well I think I'm going to go download some music...

sigh. I am so happy that today is almost over. I woke up in a bad mood this morning and all I've wanted is for today to be done. I wasn't in a bad mood all day...I eventually snapped out of it, but I'm seriously so tired. The weekend was pretty good, but some weird stuff happened. It all started Friday night. We were at work until about 5:30 Friday night and before we left a couple of different cars had pulled into the parking lot and just sat there for a minute before leaving so we thought that was really weird. Well right after we left we got a call from one of the warehouse guys telling us that the alarm company had called him to say that the alarm was going off at the office. Sam and I turned around and came back to the office to check it out and after about a half an hour of being scared and messing with the alarm we figured it out and we were able to leave. We stopped for some dinner on the way home so we ended up taking a street we don't take all the time. It is kind of a secluded street that goes between some houses. There is never anyone on it and it's not very well lit. About half way down the street I saw a kid who I swear was no more than 8 years old walking down the street by himself. It caught my attention because I wondered why he would be alone after dark on that secluded street. When we got a little closer we saw that he had a weird white mask on that only had eye holes cut in it. It was almost like a KKK hood except it wasn't pointed on top it was round like his head. It freaked us out really bad and Sam just stopped the car in the middle of the road and started screaming at the top of her lungs! While she was sitting there screaming the kid just turned his head all slow to look at us and it was seriously straight out of a horror movie. I was like "why are you still sitting here let's go" and we took off. While we were driving home we were trying to figure out what we had just seen. I said that my first thought when I saw the mask was that it was bandages and that made us wonder if the kid had needed help or something. Well I said we should just call the cops and tell them that we had seen a kid wandering by himself and let them handle it, but Sam just couldn't stand the thought that we left the kid there when he may have needed help so she decided she needed to go back. I couldn't let her go alone so I went with her. We drove all around but we couldn't find him. I was so freaked out that whole night I couldn't sleep. I had to leave my bedroom door open and get the dogs to sleep with me lol. Saturday was a lazy day. I didn't do anything at all. I just watched tv all day. Sunday I woke up and hung out with Sam and Kody for a while and then I decided to go to the mall. I was only at the mall for like 30 min. so that didn't take up a lot of time. I spent most of the rest of the day reading. I have decided I really like this show on Showtime called The United States of Tara. It is about a woman with multiple personality disorder and it is pretty entertaining. Sam, Kody, and I watch it together...it's our "family time" lol. Today I've just been working. I went to lunch with Ashlee at Cafe Rio and when we got there it was snowing...well it was more like slush falling from the sky, but I was still surprised...it didn't seem cold enough for something like that.

ugh!

I don't feel well at all. Everyone in the office has been sick and now I feel like I'm coming down with something. I hope not because I've already been sick once this winter...which is more than I ever get sick! I have been taking Airborne and Zicam to help ward off whatever is trying to get me. I am going to dinner with Kami and Ashlee tonight so that should be really fun. I haven't really talked to Kami since she got married and I miss her! Yesterday I went to lunch with Jess and the kids and it was fun. I hadn't seen Jaidyn in a long time because she was in Alamo the last time I went to Jessica's house. Jaidyn and Colin were both being funny and cute (as always). So it looks like I will probably get to move into my new place next weekend. It will hopefully be done next week and then we get to move in. It's going to be weird not living with Sam and Kody anymore...I'm seriously worried about what it will do to her dogs when I move...they seriously love me lol (I think it's because I give them turkey bologna all the time!). I will be happy when I am settled somewhere and I won't have to think about moving again for a while (unless Jordan decides he can't stand me or vice versa). This weekend looks promising for being pretty lazy. I will need to start getting my stuff rounded up to move, and I think I have to go set up a new computer for my dad, but other than that I think I can sit around as much as I want.

i'm so boring...

I'm not sure why I blog because I never really have anything interesting to say lol. Last week was pretty much the same as usual. We are really busy so everyone is frazzled. I ordered myself a second pair of the Nike's I bought because I liked them so much. They are seriously so comfy so I had to get myself a pair in a color that matches more of my clothes since the first pair I bought are gray, pink, and purple. On Friday Sam and I got to leave work early because we had to drive the boss somewhere. After we dropped him off we headed to Jessica's house because my mom was there and she was making enchiladas...yum! Saturday morning we woke up and headed to Jessica's house again so that we could all go out to breakfast. We went to the Black Bear Diner which is so good. Sam talked me into ordering this huge piece of chicken fried steak...seriously it was so big it took up most of a plate and I could only eat like half of it. We took some pics of it before and after, but it's on Jessica's camera so I can't post it. After breakfast we headed over to Town Square to do some shopping. We all wanted to go to Sephora and get some beauty products so that was our first stop and we all spent sufficient funds there. I decided that I want to use the Bare Essentials make up so I bought a bunch of it and I got Sam hooked on this face wash by Philosophy so she had to get some of that. After Sephora we headed to Old Navy where good deals were found. After that we decided we were done at Town Square so we headed back towards Jessica's house so we could go to JC Penney and Target. After we hit those stores we went back to Jessica's and hung out until it was time for my mom to make us some tacos...Yum again! My dad came over and we all stuffed ourselves on tacos. After that It was time to head home. Yesterday I woke up and decided I wanted to go buy Six Feet Under on DVD because I heard it was really good and I don't have anything to watch right now. I looked it up online and of course the only place I could find it was at Barnes and Noble in Summerlin. I talked Sam into going over there with me and I found the DVD and Sam found some books. After that we stopped at Home Goods and Pier 1 because Sam had some gift cards. Once we got home I just went in my room and didn't come out again for like 6 hrs. I was just watching my show and relaxing. Of course because I was so lazy I couldn't sleep last night, but I'm used to it. I hope this week goes by fast because I want it to be the weekend again.

not much new happening with me. I finally got to watch the season premier of Nip/Tuck the other day and it was so good. I couldn't wait for the new season because the way last season ended was killing me and let me just say it was worth the wait! I was also stoked about the new season of The Biggest Loser. I love that show and I was really excited when it started again. Lets see...Thursday was the same as usual...worked, went home, went to bed. Friday work was quiet because the boss was gone so that was nice. I like it when it's quiet around here (mostly because it never is). Friday as I was getting ready to leave work I started to feel really sick and I had the worst pain in my stomach..the kind you get when you have the stomach flu. Luckily I didn't throw up or anything and I was feeling better by Saturday morning. I didn't do anything all day Saturday. I got up and watched One Tree Hill, then I watched Coyote Ugly, then I ordered Prom Night off of pay per view, then I watched it again...lol. Do you see a pattern (if not let me help you out...I sat on my butt all day!). Saturday afternoon I got a text from Jordan inviting me to come hang out at the Loose Caboose for his birthday. I didn't even leave to go meet them until 10 pm and I didn't get home until 3:00 am. We left the bar at 2:00 am but I had to take Jordan and his sister home and they live on the complete opposite end of town from me so by the time I dropped them off and got home it was 3:00 and I was so tired. Of course I couldn't go to sleep right away so I read for a little while and got to sleep around 3:30 or so. Then of course I woke up at 7:30am. I was a little sad, but thought it would be ok because I figured I would be so tired I would be able to sleep well last night, but of course I couldn't. Yesterday after I woke up I hung out and talked to Sam for a while and then I went to Jessica's house so she could dye my hair for me. It was getting really gray so I was really happy that she agreed to do it for me. After she did my hair I hung out at her house for a while and then headed home. Kody and Samantha both got Nintendo DS's for Christmas and Kody is addicted to his. After he got home on Saturday all he wanted was for me to race against him on his little mario racing game because you can link the two DS's together and play each other. Well yesterday Sam got him a new game and he insisted that I play with him. It is a Mario/sonic Olympics game and it's pretty fun. Let me just say that I am awesome at the basketball one...and I'm ok at the archery too. lol After that we watched Death Race and then I had to go to bed because I couldn't stand to be sitting up anymore. lol Oh, so I went on a bit of a shopping spree last week and ordered a bunch of stuff. Well first I ordered a watch from Dillard's a few weeks ago because it was on super sale and I've wanted it for a long time. It is a really cute Betsey Johnson watch and of course it's on backorder so I'm waiting for that. Then I ordered Jaidyn's birthday present. I got her a trunk of dress up clothes. I hope she likes it. Then I bought myself some more stuff. I bought a pair of Nike Shox from Zappos because they were on sale for like $90 (which is a bargain since they are usually over $100). I am excited because I needed a new pair of shoes for the gym and they are so cute and I hear they are really comfy. Then I ordered some new workout clothes from Old Navy. I got 2 shirts and 2 pairs of yoga pants for like $60 which I thought was pretty good. Then I ordered an Ed Hardy handbag from Torrid. I was really excited because I get 5% off for being a member, then I had a 10% off coupon, and I had a $25 gift card that I got for Christmas so I got it for $75. I can't wait for all my stuff to get here. I got some really good deals!

how did Colin get to be 1 year old already? I can't believe it. All of the kids are growing up so fast and it's freaking me out. lol Well let me think...last week was about the same as usual. I worked Mon-Wed and then I was off for 4 days! On Wed. I was pretty pathetic and I was asleep by 10:30. On Thursday I sat around the house all day and read and then on Friday I went to hang out at Jessica's house with her and the kids. While I was there Jessica was like "hey did I tell you that Jaidyn hit me in the head with a toy so hard the other day that I thought it was bleeding?" and I was like "no". In the mean time as soon as Jessica said that Jaidyn went running into the play room and she comes to me a minute later with this little etch-a-sketch thing and tells me that she hit her mommy with it. I said "Jaidyn, why did you hit mommy?" and she said "because my was pissed" (now you have to remember when you read this that Jaidyn has a lisp so it was even funnier). It took everything I had not to bust out laughing! I turned away from her for a minute so I could get the smile off my face and then I told her that we don't use that word...that we say that we are mad. Apparently she listened to me because the next day everyone was trying to get her to tell the story and every time she did she would say she hit Jess because she was mad. It was probably the funniest thing she's ever said to me. lol Saturday I went to Alamo for brother's birthday party. It was fun to have the family together again. I took a ton of pics and there are some pretty funny ones. lol I have a picture of Tyson in an Elmo birthday hat holding that stupid doll I got him and the doll is wearing one of the hats too...it's priceless! I also have tons of pics from where Jeremy let the boys put their faces in the birthday cake. On Sunday I went to the book store and the grocery store, but that's it. I bought a little voodoo doll kit at the book store for like $8.00, but I'm scared to use it lol. I know it's not real, but it just seems like a cheesy horror movie or something. You know, I get the doll not believing in it and then all of this terrible stuff happens. lol So it looks like I might be able to move into my new residence by the end of the month. That would be nice...because Kody won't stop asking me when I'm going to move out lol and I'm sure Sam wouldn't mind having some peace and quiet again. Well I guess that's about all I have to say...
